CENSA has accomplished its mission and has been working to make its stated
vision a reality for the past ten years by bringing its members together for a
series of dinner and speaker events in major cities around the country, hosting
a regular teleconference series on important security topics, and publishing
member-driven books and research articles both in hard copy and online that
are distributed to key members of the security community.

Michael Fenzel is an active duty U.S. Army colonel selected to command a heavy brigade combat team in the 1st Armored Division. In addition, he is a Ph.D. student at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

A retired FBI Special Agent, Bill Lynn has 40 years of experience in law enforcement, including local policing and international relations. His career includes seven years as a police officer and 28 years as a FBI special agent where he was a respected investigator, valued leader, and recognized expert in surveillance and organized crime matters.

After completing a 20-year career in the federal government, Bill Natter works as a national security consultant and is based in the Washington, DC, area. Most recently, Bill served as the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy where he focused on national security policy, special operations, Maritime Domain Awareness and Department of the Navy intelligence oversight.

Major Paul Brister is a Special Tactics Officer in the United States Air Force with eleven years' experience. Major Brister is currently a Security Studies doctoral candidate at the Naval Postgraduate School and his dissertation focuses upon domestic right-wing terrorist organizations.

Amy Zalman is the Department of Defense Information Integration Chair at the National War College. Previously, from 2007 – 2012, Dr. Zalman worked at SAIC, a Washington DC based science and technology firm, where she developed new market strategies and basic research projects in the government strategic communications sector.

Peter Ahern, a founding member of CENSA, has served on the board of directors and as chairman of the membership committee.
