Graeme Wood is a national correspondent at The Atlantic. He was the 2015-2016 Edward R. Murrow Press Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, and he teaches at Yale University. His book The Way of the Strangers: Encounters with the Islamic State was published this year by Random House.
